With a decade of experience in personal injury law, Allison combines deep legal expertise with a passionate commitment to client care. As a certified paralegal with an Associate of Applied Science degree, she has collaborated with numerous attorneys and judges, developing a comprehensive understanding of the legal system and its processes. Her attention to detail and client-focused approach ensures that each case receives thorough, efficient handling from start to finish. Bilingual in Spanish, Allison effectively serves a diverse client base, eliminating language barriers that often complicate legal proceedings. She understands that behind every case file is a person seeking support during challenging times, and she ensures each client receives both exceptional legal assistance and empathetic guidance throughout their case. Known for her bubbly and fun personality, she brings positivity to the workplace and believes that a good sense of humor can make even the busiest and demanding days a little brighter. Salina Licerio

Criminal and Civil Case Manager

Salina is a Criminal and Civil Case Manager with five years of experience at The Kahn Law Firm. She manages criminal intake cases from start to finish, guiding clients through some of their toughest times. Additionally, she handles civil cases, including requesting records and writing demands. Her role requires exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills to ensure clients’ needs are met efficiently and effectively. Salina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Communication Studies from the University of Houston Downtown. Her background and skill set make her an excellent fit for managing complex legal cases, with a proven ability to empathize with clients and find solutions that work for them. Known for her sparkling and bubbly personality, Salina believes that a good sense of humor can brighten even the busiest of days. Her positivity fosters a supportive and encouraging work environment for both clients and colleagues. Outside of work, Salina is a passionate supporter of her children’s sports activities, spending most of her time at the ball fields or traveling to new places with her family. She also loves staying active and embracing new experiences.

Jessica Chalfin Ochs

Intake Coordinator

Jessica serves as an essential part of the firm’s client service experience, acting as the first point of contact for prospective clients and helping to foster a professional and welcoming environment. Drawing on her experience working within the court system, along with her background in administrative support, she brings a thoughtful understanding of both legal processes and client care.  As the firm’s Intake Coordinator, Jessica plays a key role in guiding clients through the initial stages of their legal matter, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and supported from the very beginning. Her warm demeanor, approachable nature, and light sense of humor help create a sense of ease and trust from the first interaction. Outside of the office, Jessica is a devoted mother who values time with her family and is grounded in her Christian faith, which guides her compassionate and service-oriented approach to her work.

Vanessa A. Oviedo

Settlement & Medical Records Legal Assistant

As a dedicated member of the Kahn Law Firm for nearly 9 years, Vanessa Oviedo combines precision with purpose in every aspect of her work. She brings exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail to her case management role. Her fluency in Spanish enables seamless communication across diverse legal environments, helping bridge crucial language gaps for clients and team members alike. Outside the office, Vanessa finds her greatest happiness in family moments—whether attending church services with her husband and children or spending time at home with her beloved Sphynx cats, who are cherished members of her household.
